    Where Danjah Dog really parks

The truck isn’t stationed anywhere on the bay. Our one daily stop is the Lowes Home Improvement parking lot at 411 Pacific Street in Iwilei, Honolulu, Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM. Bay residents who work or shop in town can swing by; for a boat-club potluck or a family party near the water, book the truck.

What a hungry boat crew orders

Da Big Hot Podagee ($15) is the heaviest hitter on the menu. Da Hawaiian Hurricane Hammah ($21) is close behind, and Wednesday’s Korean BBQ Teriyaki special is a crew favorite. Cazi’s bento carries the lau lau that took First Place at the 1995 Taste of Honolulu.

Islands, Harbors & Fishponds of the Bay

Kāneʻohe Bay is sheltered by living coral reefs, with Heʻeia and Kāneʻohe town along its southwestern shore and the Mōkapu Peninsula closing it off on the Kailua side. Much of bay life happens on the water, so these landmarks are a mix of shoreline and offshore.

    • Moku o Loʻe (Coconut Island)

Home of the University of Hawaiʻi’s Hawaiʻi Institute of Marine Biology since 1951, and famous from the opening of “Gilligan’s Island.” Public tours run by boat from Lilipuna Pier.

    • Heʻeia Kea Small Boat Harbor

The state harbor on Kamehameha Highway with boat ramps, berths and moorings – the launch point for many bay days.

    • Waikalua Loko Fishpond

An ancient Hawaiian fishpond, roughly 400 years old, cared for by volunteers who clear mangrove and maintain its wall and gates.

    • Mōkapu Peninsula & Marine Corps Base Hawaii

The base occupies the whole peninsula between Kāneʻohe and Kailua, with its main gate at the end of H-3.

Kāneʻohe Bay Questions? We Got Answers

For boaters, military families and anyone hosting near the bay.

Can Danjah Dog cater a party after a day on Kāneʻohe Bay?

Yes. Truck booking and drop-off catering are available anywhere on Oʻahu, including homes and venues around Kāneʻohe Bay. Send your date, headcount and address through our catering quote form.

Can the food truck come onto Marine Corps Base Hawaii?

Not on its own. Any event on or near the base needs approval from the organizer and the installation. Without that, you can pick up at our Honolulu truck or book catering at an off-base location.

Does delivery reach Kāneʻohe Bay homes?

It depends. Danjah Dog is on DoorDash and Uber Eats, cooked at our Honolulu truck, and coverage to Kāneʻohe varies by app and address. Check the app before you count on it.

Can you deliver to the Heʻeia Kea harbor or to a boat?

We don’t deliver to boats, and app drivers need a reachable street address. For a group launching from the harbor, catering at a nearby home or venue is the practical option.

What’s the biggest plate for a hungry crew?

Da Big Hot Podagee and Da Hawaiian Hurricane Hammah are both $15. Cazi’s bento with mini lau lau and kalua pig is also $15, and any combo adds a drink and chips for $3.

When is the Danjah Dog truck open?

Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM, at 411 Pacific Street in Honolulu. Brunch sandos are served all day.
