Wheeler has been an airfield since 1922, and on December 7, 1941, it was one of the first places hit in the attack on Oʻahu. Today the 25th Infantry Division’s Combat Aviation Brigade flies from here, and the people who keep those helicopters running work long days. Danjah Dog’s job is simple: make the meal after the shift worth the drive.
