Schofield Barracks Questions? We Got Answers

For soldiers, military families and unit event planners at Schofield.

Does Danjah Dog’s truck come onto Schofield Barracks?

Not on its own. Schofield is an Army installation that requires base access, so any event on or near base must be approved by the organizer and the installation. Off-base catering or pickup at 411 Pacific Street in Honolulu are the straightforward options.

Can I get Danjah Dog delivered to on-post housing at Schofield?

Danjah Dog is on DoorDash and Uber Eats, but our truck is in Honolulu and on-post delivery depends on the app and installation access rules. Check your address in the apps; delivery may not be available.

Can you cater a unit hail-and-farewell off base?

Yes. Catering and truck bookings are available anywhere on Oʻahu, so an off-base park, hall or home works well. Send the details through our catering quote form.

What’s a good intro to local food for new arrivals at Schofield?

Try Cazi’s Famous Hawaiian Bento with mini lau lau and kalua pig, or Da Shaun Dog. Both are a quick lesson in island flavors.

    What are the truck’s hours?

Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM, at 411 Pacific Street, Honolulu. Brunch sandos run all day.

    What does a combo include?

Adding a combo is $3 and gets you a drink and chips with any item.
