Best Hawaiian Street Food for Lanikai: Food Truck & Drop-Off Catering
Before a 1920s developer named it Lanikai, this strip of windward coast was known as Kaʻōhao. Today it’s a quiet, residential beach community: powder-fine sand, Nā Mokulua offshore and a one-way loop road with no restaurants, restrooms or public lot. That makes it a place where good food has to be planned – and Danjah Dog’s drop-off catering makes the planning easy.

Kaʻōhao’s Beach, Ridge & Islands

Lanikai Beach (Kaʻōhao)
About half a mile of fine white sand reached by public beach-access paths, with no restrooms, showers or lifeguards.
Nā Mokulua
“The Mokes” offshore: kayakers may land on the larger northern islet, while the southern one is a bird sanctuary closed to landing.
Kaʻiwa Ridge Trail
The ridge hike to the WWII-era Lanikai Pillboxes, with its trailhead near Mid-Pacific Country Club.

The private golf club next to Lanikai, dating to the 1920s.
