Waimānalo still feels like country. Farm lots and plant nurseries run from the town back toward the cliffs of the Koʻolau, and out front is what’s often called the longest stretch of sandy shoreline on Oʻahu. It’s a place for big family gatherings under the ironwoods – and when the cooler needs filling, Danjah Dog’s plate-lunch flavors fit right in.
