Best Hawaiian Street Food for Moanalua Valley & Moanalua Gardens

Moanalua carries royal history: Prince Lot Kapuāiwa, later King Kamehameha V, kept a cottage here and championed hula when it was suppressed – a legacy still celebrated each July under the great monkeypod trees of Moanalua Gardens. Up the valley, quiet streets give way to one of the city’s best stream hikes. It’s a place made for long, shared meals, and Danjah Dog’s Hawaiian plates and dogs fit right in.
