Nānākuli is the first town you reach heading up the leeward coast, and one of the oldest Hawaiian Home Lands communities in the state, set aside under the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act of 1921. Most families live up in the valley, and gatherings here tend to be big ones. Danjah Dog brings the food for those days: Danjah Dogs, Hammah Burgahs and Cazi’s award-winning lau lau.

Nānākuli Questions? We Got Answers
Answers for Nānākuli families, schools and party planners.
Can Danjah Dog cater a homestead party or baby lūʻau in Nānākuli?
Yes. The truck and drop-off catering can be booked anywhere on Oʻahu, including Nānākuli. Use the quote form on our catering page with your date, location and headcount.
Can I get Danjah Dog delivered to Nānākuli?
Possibly not. We’re on DoorDash and Uber Eats, but our truck is in Honolulu and app coverage may not stretch to Nānākuli. Check your address in each app; for groups, catering is the reliable option.
Could Danjah Dog help with a Nānākuli school fundraiser?
We can be booked for school and community events like any other catering job. The school or organizer handles any permission needed for the site, and we’ll work out the menu and timing with you.
Can the truck set up at Nānākuli Beach Park?
Beach parks are city property, so food service there depends on the rules and any permit your event has. Tell us the plan when you request a quote and we’ll talk through options.
What ZIP code is Nānākuli?
Nānākuli uses ZIP code 96792, shared with Māʻili, Waiʻanae and Mākaha.
What makes Cazi’s bento special?
Cazi’s lau lau won First Place at the Taste of Honolulu in 1995, and the chef also won Sam Choy’s First Annual Poke Contest. The $15 bento pairs a mini lau lau with kalua pig.
