Hawaiʻi Kai was built around water. The marina channels that wind past backyards were once Kuapā Pond, an ancient Hawaiian fishpond, and today the community spills from Maunalua Bay up into Kalama Valley and the ridges. Between boat days, Koko Crater climbs and backyard parties, there’s plenty of reason to feed a crowd – and Danjah Dog’s island-style grinds are made for exactly that.
