Makakilo means “observing eyes,” a good name for a neighborhood that sits around 600 feet up the southern slopes of the Waiʻanae Range, looking out over the ʻEwa Plain and the ocean. It’s cooler and breezier up here, and a lanai with that view is made for a party. Danjah Dog can bring the food up the hill.
